She was predeceased by: her parents, Shin Hyo Dang and Kim Tae Ryeom; and her husband Hak Soo Kim. She is survived by: her children, Paul Kim, Lucy Lee, Mary, Steve Hwang, Catherine Kim and Doug Russell; and her siblings, Chong Ja Shin, Dae Hyun Shin, Kwang Hyun Shin and Bo Shin. She is also survived by grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jung Hea's memory to the Minnesota Association for Korean Americans (MAKA), supporting scholarships and Korean cultural pride.
