It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kae Hyung Lee of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Kae Hyung departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kae Hyung may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kae Hyung leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Soon O. Lee. He is survived by: his children, Dae B. Lee (Rosa M.), Kyung Wha Lee (Shawn Lee), Chungwha Lee (Simon Ko) and Sookwha Lee (Riccardo Foggia, Jr.); and his grandchildren, Chris H. Lee, Austin K. Lee, Kent I. Lee, Justin Kim, Adrienne Eumi Ko and Eugene Alan Ko.
