It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Ruth Hams (Buffalo Grove, Illinois), who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kozla and Gladys Kozla; and her brother-in-law John W. Sterbenz. She is survived by: her children, Jonathan Tucker (Barbara Ann) and Cheryl Vargas (Martin); her grandchildren, Nathan Tucker, Matthew Tucker, Jason Scheck, Tom Scheck, Daniel Vargas (Gina) and Jessica Lewandowski (Paul); her sister Judy Sterbenz; and her nephews, John, Thomas, Timothy and Christopher Sterbenz.
