He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his sons, Michael (Beth) and David Emerson (Diane); his grandchildren, Caitlin (James), Matthew (Jennifer), Thomas, Sarah, Megan and Claire; and his great grandchildren, Sophie and Lucas.
