With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Kadel of Buffalo Prairie, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may William find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Kadel and Bernadine Kadel (McGinnis); and his brother Jim Kadel. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his sister Joyce Hanks of Lone Tree, Iowa; his stepbrother David (Reba Ripley) of Bettendorf; and his sister-in-law Glenda Kadel of Joy, IL.
To honor Bill's life, in lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be given to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Buffalo Prairie Community Church.
