He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Jessie and Nellie Lucille Greer (Carroll); and his siblings, Larry, Loren, Donna Coultas, Danny, Peggy Taylor and Eddie.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Meyer of Augustine's Catholic Church; his children, Christa Turner (Chris) of Hudson, Allen Greer (Sara) of Williston and Tracy Heinz (Derek) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Marissa (Colton), Weston, Colton, Braeden, Bailee, Jackson and August; his great grandchild Elena; and his siblings, Fred Greer of Jacksonville, Will Greer (Polly) of New Berlin, Nancy Rosenbeck (Ray) of Dawson, Kenny Greer of Ashland and Barb Troxell (Dave) of Ashland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Augustine Parish Hall (800 W Main St, Ashland, IL 62612). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine's Catholic Church (800 W Main St, Ashland, IL 62612). A burial will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at the St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery (800 W Main St, Ashland, IL 62612).
