He was predeceased by: his wife Carole; his son Patrick, Sr.; his parents, Lawrence, Sr. Gow and Beulah Gow; his siblings, Lawrence, Jr. Gow (late Jean), Margaret Nolan (late Frank) and Walter "Bud" Gow (late Patricia); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Frugoli (late Dorothy), Joan Halloran (late John "Jack", Sr.) and Alfred, Jr. Frugoli (late Arlene).
He is survived by: his children, James, Jr. Gow (Mary Lynn) and Mary M. Gow; his daughter-in-law Kathy Gow; his grandchildren, Kimberly Gow, Patrick, Jr. Gow (Dana), Jamie Cassan (Jeremy) and Kelly Maurisak (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Paige, Lucas Cassan, Abigail and Logan Maurisak.
