With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Nolan Shipman Sr. of Burbank, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie; his sons, Kenneth Jr. (Kelly) and Lawrence J. Shipman (Jayme); his grandchildren, Jared, Ethan, Avery and Abigail; and his siblings, Harold (Carol Jean), Everett (late Louise), Charles (late Dorothy), Alice Munson, Don, Donna Wesselhoff (late Wes), James and Warren Shipman. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Albert the Great Church (8000 Linder Ave, Burbank, IL 60459). A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
