He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sharon; his sons, Jeff (Kati) and Gary Marwitz (Caroline); his grandchildren, Collin (Brigita) and Ryan Marwitz (Ashlie); his great grandchild Madeline Marwitz; and his brother-in-law Ray Rampage (Marilyn).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525). The lying in state was held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (11500 German Church Rd, Burr Ridge, IL 60527). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church (address above) appreciated.
