He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Earl and Mildred Fox (Barwarth); his brothers, Bob and John; his wife Marianne Lackey; his children, Laura Distler (Rick), Sue Pircon (Ron), Colette Kaufmann (Chuck) and Dan Fox (Maia); his grandchildren, Nik Distler (Jess), Zack Issleib, Maggie Lydon (Tim), Maddie Duncan (Paul), Jennifer Foye (Dan), William Fox (Caty), Eva Grant (Mitch), Michael Pircon (Aly), Sarah Liljegren (Justin), Hannah Lipka (Trenton), Charlie Kaufmann, Adam Pircon and Rachel Distler; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Harper, Harrison, Margot, Levi, Wells, Ashton, Sloane, Maeve, Ronnie, River, Mackenzie and Emma.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church (306 W 4th St, Hinsdale, IL 60521). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church.
