She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl M. Benge and Francis Marie Benge (Campbell); her husband Robert C. Nichols; and her siblings, Wayne Benge, LaVerne Benge, Dillon Benge, Velda Conner, Wade Benge and Zane Benge.
She is survived by: her sons, Chris Nichols (Edie) of Brazil, Kevin Nichols (Karen) of Southbury and Corey Nichols (Cheri) of Bushnell, Illinois; and her sister Sherriell Detrick of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home (771 N Crafford St, Bushnell, IL 61422). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
