He is survived by: his wife Susie; his children, Matthew Shirk (Michelle) of Jacksonville, Kristi Pierce of Destin, Dean Pierce of Naperville and Octavian Pierce (Austin) of Bushnell, Illinois; his grandchildren, Pierce Shirk, Kierra, Delayna, Craig, Jayden, Jada and Rodrick; his great grandchildren, Nelia, Aviana, Kaisen and Yara; his siblings, Kathleen F. Berg (Steve) of Kailua, Sharon F. Pierce of Bushnell, Cary B. Pierce (Theresa) of Wheaton, Tina Lovejoy (Steve) of Bushnell, Curtis E. Pierce (Beth) of Avon and Kimberly S. Pierce (Steve Walters) of Bushnell, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Julie Pierce of Marietta, Illinois. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
