We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Dixie J. La Mere (Bushnell, Illinois), born in Cuba, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Corda Fry and Maurice Taylor (Theadore); her sister Sheryl; and her son David Charles. She is survived by: her husband David La Mere; her sons, Dane of Pekin and Dreu (Angela) of Pekin; her grandsons, Cameron and Ethan of Pekin; and her nephew Teddy Reichert of Texas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Martin-Hollis Funeral Home (771 N Crafford St, Bushnell, IL 61422). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cuba Cares.
