It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen Richard Weiss of Bushnell, Illinois, who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Weiss and Helen Weiss (Hall); his sons, Charles and John Weiss; his great-nephew Landon Cromer; and his brother-in-law Mike Cromer.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jo Carithers; his children, Sarah Stehl (Eric) of Bushnell, Rebecca Eisele (Travis) of Metamora, Charity Weiss of Bushnell and Matthew Weiss (Sookie) of Macomb; his grandsons, Ross Stehl of Bushnell, Gideon and Abraham Eisele of Metamora; and his siblings, Michael of Bushnell, David of Bushnell, Lonnie Weiss of Bushnell, Janice Spencer (Tim) of Buchanan and Cheryl Cromer of Macomb. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midwest New Hope Community Church or the Bushnell Rescue Squad.
