It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Lee Walters of Bushnell, Illinois, born in Marietta, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Otis and Althea Lillian Walters (Ford); and his siblings, Jerry Walters and Frances Allen. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Ashby; his children, Deb Hughes (Eric) of Bushnell, Nick Walters (Amy) of Hamilton and Anthony Walters of Bushnell; his grandchildren, Jimmy Redding (Paulina), Joshua Redding (Caroline) and Madison Wilson (Bryce); and his great grandchildren, Alina and Jimmy Redding, Jr.. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar First Baptist Church (90 Murphy Rd, Bushnell, IL 61422). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bushnell First Baptist Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family and left in the care of the funeral home.
