He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Klinedinst and Maxine Klinedinst (Tuthill); his wife Nina McLaren; his son Dennis Klinedinst; and his siblings, Bill Klinedinst and Dorothy Parry.
He is survived by: his sons, Gerald Klinedinst (Marcena) of Avon, Donald Klinedinst of Macomb and Kevin Klinedinst (Tammy) of Bushnell, Illinois; Virginia Thomas of Littleton, Illinois.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bushnell Rescue Squad.
