She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Palmer and Mary Elizabeth Wingate (Hites); and her sister Elizabeth Reynolds of Rich's Department Store. She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Tolly (Paul) of Midland, MI, Jeffrey Morgan of Bushnell, IL and Susan Horn (Joel) of Morrison, IL.; her grandchildren, Brandy Martin (Michael), Samantha Mitchell (David), Aleigha Morgan, Alyssa Morgan, Spencer Horn, Victoria Horn and Savannah Horn; and her great grandchildren, Korben, Chloe, Esme and Luna.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Elms Nursing Home in Macomb, IL, whose staff and volunteers served Elinor with deep compassion, empathy, and diligence since 2021.
