He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Howerter and Maxine Howerter (Bankes); and his brother Alan L. Howerter. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl L. Thomas (Dean) of Plymouth, IL and Rachel A. Havens (Jamie) of Quincy, IL. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
