He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Maloney and Beverly Maloney (Stehl); his significant other LaRita Heaton; his brothers, Dave Maloney of Prairie City, IL and Jim Maloney of Bushnell, IL; his siblings-in-law, Pat Yost of Havana, IL, Eldon Heaton of Canton, IL, Ron Heaton of Havana, IL and Lloyd Robinson of Monmouth, IL; and his friends, Greg, Ron and Jim. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Memorials in memory of Butch may be made to the McDonough District Hospice.
