He was predeceased by: his parents, Arne Feste and Helen Ann Feste (Krage); his in-laws, Peter and Wanda Cacciatore; his brother Douglas Feste; and his brother-in-law John Kennay.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Cacciatore Feste; his children, Elizabeth McCostlin (Adam), Jeffrey Feste (Taylor) and Jordan Feste (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, William, Merideth McCostlin, Theo, Shepherd Feste, Olivia and Eloise Feste; and his siblings, Diane (Ray Thomas), Krage (Teresa Feste), Liz (Mike Rickert), Scott (Nancy Feste), Kathy (Kevin Heaton), Dan Feste, Peter Cacciatore, Cynthia Kennay and Sharon (Terry Tamanauskas).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (123 E 2nd St, Byron, IL 61010). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (226 E 2nd St, Byron, IL 61010). A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (123 E 2nd St, Byron, IL 61010).
In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial donations can be made to Serenity Hospice (Oregon, Illinois) or Northwestern Memorial Hospital (Chicago, Illinois) - where Jeff was under the best care the last several months.
