She was predeceased by: her parents, John Reese and Marguerite Reese; her sister Jean Trimmer; and her sister-in-law Mary Kay Reese. She is survived by: her sons, Bill (Cindy), Tom (Christy) and Dan (Susie); her grandchildren, Travis (Candace), Rachel (Austin), Lindsay (Jake), Tyler (Myckala), Emily (Tim) and Joe (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Ingrid Hanlin, William, Owen, Lanora Safranek and Millie Schuessler; and her brother Jack Reese.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is established in Joan's name for the Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL.
