She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Carter and Robbie Lee Carter (Trovillion); her husband Roy G. Mitcheltree; her sister Carol Jean Sinatra; and her stepdaughter Gayle Barnhill (Roger).
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Joan Carter; her stepdaughter Debra Myers (David); her grandchildren, Brian Myers, Misty LeFaver (Steve), Jeremy Barnhill (Lacey) and Joli Story (Jimmy); her niece Carolyn Highlander (Steve); and her nephew Richard Sinatra (Katherina). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moss Family Funeral Home (209 S Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
