He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Rebecca; and his brother Steven Forsyth. He is survived by: his son Michael P. Forsyth, Jr. of Pontoon Beach, IL; his grandson Parker Forsyth; his sister Linda Branson (Dennis) of Dupo, IL; and his sibling's children, Mary Koppenhoffer (Chris), Mark Branson (Rob Cwiklowski) and Matt Branson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Braun Family Funeral Home (265 Quarry Rd, Columbia, IL 62236). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
