He was predeceased by: his parents, John Booth Sr. and Levada Hodge; his stepfather William Kimble Sr.; his children, Barbara Booth and Charles Booth III; and his siblings, Shirley Booth Roseman, John Booth Jr., William Kimble Jr. and Melvin L. Kimble Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Shelly Booth; and his children, Gary Johnson of Tampa, FL, Dolph Booth (Rachel) of Cairo, IL, Sheila Booth Coleman (Thomas) of Rossville, GA, Jennifer Booth Portee (Greg) of Marion, IL, Chauncey Hopkins of Memphis, TN, Kristen Box of Cairo, IL and Cherrelle of Centralia, IL. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cairo Junior/Senior High School (4201 Sycamore St, Cairo, IL 62914). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
