He is survived by : his children, Phillip Duane Vaughn of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. and Martina Vaughn of Cairo; his sister Fannie Burns of Louisville; his grandchildren, Pam, Domonique Hill, Kiant'e Vaughn (Jeffery Allen Woolridge, Jr.), Braon White, Brenon White, Chase Doss and Philicity Vaughn; his great grandchildren, Paris Vaughn and Lala Woolridge; his nieces and nephews, Linda Vaughn, Chana Vaughn, Keshia Burns, Kendra Vaughn, Kendrick Burns, Dontae Vaughn, Michelle Vaughn, Jermaine Burns and Tywian Vaughn; and his parents-in-law, Gloria Dean Alexander, Jerry Massie (Kathy), Meta Lumpkin, Brian Powell, Anthony Powell, Alicia Lancaster, Kimberly Webster, Davelle Massie (Sherry), Michael Massie, Darwin Roddy (Malika) and William Roddy (Tameka).
