He was predeceased by: his daughters, TaMyra Greer-Lyons and Kara Greer; his parents, Wardell Greer Sr. and Ola Mae Greer; and his siblings, Eddie Lee Greer, James Eric Greer and Linda Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Ilene; his sisters, Cora Wright (Lee) of Cairo, Illinois, Maxine (Davis), Luettha Porter (Ken) of Springfield, Illinois, Joyce Holder (Jay) of Cairo, Illinois, Geralyn Mason (Greg) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Charlotte Offord (Elder David) of St. Louis and Carolyn Kluttz (Alywin) of Chesterfield, Missouri.; his sister-in-law Stacy Greer of Covington; his son-in-law Darcy Lyons of Cincinnati; and his uncle Bishop Lee McClain (Norma) of Landham, Maryland.. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many cherished friends.
