It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grant Scime of Caledonia, Illinois, who passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, John Drapanes and Joseph Scime; and his friend Aaron Johnson. He is survived by: his parents, John Scime and Maureen Scime (Drapanes); his siblings, Allison Ringwald (Brad) and Christopher Scime (Jessica); his nephews, Jaxson Scime, Cal Ringwald and Weston Scime; his niece Grace Ringwald; his grandmothers, Nancy Scime and Judith Drapanes; his aunts and uncles, Joe Scime (Gayle), Jeff Scime (Teri), Jay Scime, Charles Drapanes, Denise Molloy (Sean) and Christine Fiorito (Brian); his cousins, Joey Scime (Jessica), Nicole Bushman (Joey), Greg Scime (Tracy), Sophia McGee (Christian), Julia Scime, Jonah Scime, Brad Fiorito (Cami), Josh Fiorito (Julie), Hannah Fiorito (Thomas Stringer), Jake Fiorito, Joey Fiorito, Meaghan Swanton (Jon), Danielle Wellenstein (Brenden) and Johnny Molloy; Kelcey and Emersyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Wisconsin Organ and Tissue. Donation "Greatest Needs Fund" or the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Northern Illinois.
