It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greta Whitecotton of Cambria, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Demova Tyner (Gilkey); her husband Bobby Ray Whitecotton; her son-in-law Mark Sanders; her brother William; her sister-in-law Carole Tyner; and her sisters, Roma (Don Modglin), June (Bob Martin), Jolene (Derril Masters), Delorse Leeper and Lana Sonier.
She is survived by: her extended family Street; her children, Bruce Whitecotton (Debbie) of Cambria, Rebecca Sanders of Carterville and Shanna Clutts (Darrell) of Cambria; her great grandchildren, Makenna, Jaylie, Isaac, Lyla, Chance, Nora, Kennedy, Amelia and Audrey; her brothers, Gary Tyner (Paula) of Cambria and Monty Tyner (Monica) of Carterville; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Leeper, Joe Whitecotton (Anna) and Bobby Grissom.
