She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilma Tripp (Walker) and Ora Tripp; her former husband Clifton Garrett Hammonds; her husband Charles "Chuck" A. Barwick; her children, Clifta Jean Stearns and Kelly Lynn Hammonds; her grandchildren, Cory Stearns and Kristin Miller (Josh); and her sister Shelby Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Chris Hammonds (Vicki), Wilma Dean Holder (Kenny), Randall Hammonds (Donna), Leslie Aaron (Jim) and Mike Hammonds. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
