Carmen U. McIe Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2025, at the age of 87, Carmen U. McIe of Cambridge, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Carmen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carmen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Ackerson and Clarice G. Ackerson (Benham); and her son Skipper. She is survived by: her children, Edward McIe, Dennis McIe, Robin McIe and Dottie McIe. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Spring Creek Cemetery E 1950th.
