He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold G. Brown and Grace E. Dunavin Brown; his spouse Shirley Anderson; and his sister Jackie Butcher. He is survived by : his daughter Pamela Jo; his son-in-law Randy Ryan; his son Michael E. of Cambridge; his daughter-in-law Michaelene Brown of Cambridge; and his grandchildren, Jason M. Brown (Amanda), Austin Brown and Halie Jo Ryan.
