She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Swanson and Mayme Abramson Swanson; her spouse Dale Hepner; and her son-in-law Butch Hasson. She is survived by: her children, Diane Hasson, David (Nancy Hepner) and Daniel Hepner; her son-in-law Francis Chonsky of Minot, ND.; her grandchildren, Tom Hasson (Katy), Brent Hasson (LeAnna), Jeff Hasson (Traci), Duaine Hepner (Rebecca), Jamie Hepner (Nichole), Amy Brandon (Heath), Michelle Poole, Corey Chonsky (Amber), Mike Chonsky (Anna), Jay Hepner (Misty) and Tara Kerr (Tyler); her stepgrandchildren, Paula Smith (Tim), Michele Williams (Bill) and Matt Smith (Kim); her half-siblings, Linda Storm (Stanley), Sharon Hulick (Gene) and Darrell Swanson (Julie); her sisters-in-law, Judy Swanson and Jane Swanson; her godson Kent Swanson; her daughter Janet Chonsky; her siblings, Forrest, Marvin (Zarretta), Larry, Everett Swanson, Jane Swanson and Lila Borkgren; her stepbrother Roger Christance; her stepgrandson Matthew Merle Swanson; and her daughter-in-law Deb Hepner. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stackhouse-Moore Funeral & Cremation Services (212 E Court St, Cambridge, IL 61238). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cambridge Lutheran Church (319 W Court St, Cambridge, IL 61238). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:45 PM at the Rosedale Cemetery N 1200th.

Memorials may be made to Cambridge Lutheran Church, Cambride Ambulance Service, or to Vasa Lodge, Bishop Hill.
