He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Brodd and Doris K. Brodd (Swedman); and his siblings, Debbie, Larry and Timothy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Yurchak and Kathleen Brodd; and his sisters, Linda Smith and Ann Clark.
A procession was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:45 AM. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (Joy, IL 61260).
