She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mercer and Pauline Mercer (Tracy); her husband Gary; her daughter Angela Henander; and her siblings, Mary Ann Mercer and Jesse Mercer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Chom (Christopher) of Inwood and Nancy Richardson of Geneseo, Illinois; her grandchildren, Brandon Henander of South Milwaukee, Tyler Henander-Ford of Rock Island, Haley Stoner (Scot) of Houston and Ben Chom (Kayla Kirchharr) of Daphne; her great grandchildren, Iris Henander-Harris, Logan, Emmett, Everett, Ernest Chom, Jasper and Aeris Dinneweth; and her siblings, Loretta Barks, Nancy Morrissey, Frank Mercer and James Mercer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
