Palmer and Mary Caroline "Marie" Thies Palmer; his wife Fern Margaret Robinson; his children, Barbara Palmer and Scott of Cambridge; his daughter-in-law Lisa Palmer of Cambridge; his grandson Brayton Palmer; his sister Carol Kooi; his niece Patricia (Terry Reed); and his siblings, Mildred Adelman, Eldon Palmer and Arley John Palmer.

Memorials may be made to the Cambridge Ambulance Service or Valley View Club.
