He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Irma Sophia Snyder Moody; his daughter Renee Carlson; his granddaughter Megan Hesse; and his sister Joyce Lehman.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Moody of Camp Point, Illinois.; and his sisters, Sharon Martini (Rod) of Buffalo Grove and Jan Lodding (Chuck) of Lake Barrington.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hendricker Funeral Home (406 S Capitol Ave, Mt Sterling, IL 62353). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
