She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn "Jim" Tieken and Vivian "Jenell" Friday Tieken; and her siblings, Judy Longcor, Gail Caster and Jim Tieken.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald L. Powell; her daughter Misti Whittaker (Tim) of Janesville, WI; her grandchildren, Bailie Whittaker (Jon Rothman) of Chicago, IL and Drew Whittaker of Chicago, IL; her sister Stacie Byars (Dave) of Stevensville, MD; and her siblings-in-law, Loren Caster of Ursa, IL, Louise "Lou" Caley of Loraine, IL and Harriet Dooley (Richard) of Monroe City, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lummis-Hamilton Funeral Home (110 School St, Camp Point, IL 62320).
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
