It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara R. Priebe of Campbell Hill, Illinois, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Barbara had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Barbara may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Priebe and Ruth Priebe (Knop); her siblings, Allegra Rubach and Bill Priebe; and her close friend Darrell Howie.
She is survived by: her niece Debra Smith (Kevin) of Campbell Hill, IL; and her great-niece Christine Davis (Matt).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church – Post Oak (601 Post Oak Rd, Campbell Hill, IL 62916). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
