She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Yarbrough; her stepchildren, Larry Owens and Wanda Majors; and her brother Robert Thompson. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kathie Owens (Janell Estes), James Owens (Melanie), Dan Majors (Mackenzie) and Karen Sedgwick (Ralph); and her great grandchildren, Brayden, Jaina, Kutai, Grace, Josh, Lena, Trinity, Jack, Tony, Alexis and Gracie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory (1995 N Main St, Canton, IL 61520). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
