With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard W. Overholt of Canton, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil Overholt and Mary Lou Overholt (King); his daughter Tracy A. Overholt; and his brother David Overholt. He is survived by : his children, Barbara A. James (Joe), Richard V. Overholt and Laura L. Buchman (Jeff); his grandchildren, Kelly J. Verardo (Nick), Kyle J. James and Ashley D. Buchman (JJ Belville); his great grandchildren, Aubree, Brayden, Caleb, Dawson Verardo and Addison Belville; and his siblings, Don Overholt (Margaret) and Pat Fletcher. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
