With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Avery of Canton, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Burley Parker and Margaret Parker (Price); her son Larry Avery of Canton, IL; and her brothers, Harold Parker of Springfield, IL, Duane Parker of Macomb, IL and Wendell Parker (Porky).
She is survived by: her sons, Garry Avery of Springfield, MO and Steve Avery of Jolliet, IL. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (9760 US Hwy 136, Macomb, IL 61455).
