With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven E. Smith of Canton, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Steven touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Smith and Donna Smith (Carpenter); and his brother Randall Robinson. He is survived by: his daughter Barbar Jo; his siblings, Ronald Robinson, Denny Robinson, Bruce Robinson, Andrew Ewing and Vicki Sayer; and his girlfriend Ramona Johnson.
