With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William E. Lane of Canton, Illinois, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on June 23, 2022 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William E. Lane to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ted Lane and Elberta Lane (Reid) of Carthage, IL.; his wife Beulah Shipman; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Shipman, Wayne Shipman and Richard Baker.

He is survived by : his children, Rhonda Weers (Tom), Karen Churchill (Norm), Bruce Lane (Amy) and Cyndie Rees (Kevin); his grandchildren, Sara Hammond, Jean Jockisch, Aaron Haacke, TJ Weers, Mary Rees, Justin Lane and Kevin Rees; his great grandchildren, Tay Hammond, Christopher Jockisch and Lilah De Jesus; his sister Joan Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Shipman and Michael "Butch" Moore (Missy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
