He was predeceased by: his parents, James LeRoy "Roy" Bounds and Beulah H. Gibson Thomas Bounds; and his siblings, Melvin R., LeRoy C., Dale F. Bounds, Betty J. Chastain Burris and Wilda M. Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann of Cantrall; his sons, Keith A. Bounds (Vicki) of Chesterfield, MO and Kurt B. Bounds (Leticia) of Oswego, IL; and his grandchildren, Kyle Bounds of Augusta, GA, Sam Bounds of Baltimore, MD, Madison Bounds of Nashville, TN, Alysia Bounds of Phoenix, AZ, Ansley, Alex and Caden Bounds of Oswego, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cantrall United Methodist Church.
