We are sad to announce that, on December 13, 2025, at the age of 83, Carol Ann Dillinger of Carbondale, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Ann Dillinger to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Carol Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carol Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Gilbert and Lucille Penrod (Margarit); and her husband Jack Dillinger. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Dillinger (Angie) and Eric Dillinger (Lou Ann); and her stepsisters, Betty Dickey and Janice Hartline. She is also survived by one step-child; three step-grandchildren; along four step great-grandchildren.
The Carol had requested that memorial contributions be made to Murdale Baptist Church Youth Department.
