Charlotte Anne Strawn Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 83, Charlotte Anne Strawn (Carbondale, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Owen Sr. and Naomi Owen; and her daughter Jennifer Lynn Robinson Perry. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Strawn; her siblings, Bonnie Wright (Mike Wright) and Frank Owen; her siblings' children, Chistina Owen and Frankie Owen; her daughter Cathy Runyan; her grandchildren, Krista Barnes, Mike Barnes and Charlotte Barnes; and her children, Colleen Akiko and Mark Strawn.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the G. Meredith Funeral Home & Cremation Services (300 S University Ave, Carbondale, IL 62901). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
