With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cheryl Ann Mayer (Carbondale, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Leslie and Wanda Lou Herd (Steele); and her brother Ronnie Hawk. She is survived by: her husband Dallas Mayer; her children, Jennifer Zeiba and Levi Mayer; her grandchildren, Dusty Young, Oakley Mayer, Oliver Mayer and Opal Mayer; her great grandchildren, Maci Harmon and McCoy Young; and her sisters, Leah Ralph and Karen Robinson.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or the American Motorcyclist Association in Cheryl's memory.
