He is survived by: his mother Suzy Bremmer; his daughter Kristin Lavere of Brown County, Indiana; his brothers, Chad Long of Indianapolis and Wade Long of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Willow and Isaiah Lavere.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a horse rescue organization in Christopher's memory. Donations made to help care for and rehabilitate horses in need would be a fitting tribute to a man whose love for horses was lifelong and profound.
