With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diana SUE Kington of Carbondale, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Diana leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Deaton and Neeta Deaton; and her husband Louis Brent Kington. She is survived by: her children, Brooke Gilmore and Tod Kington; and her siblings, Michael, Randy Deaton and Judi O'Steen.
