He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barr and Blanche Barr (Hobbs) of Aikin, Illinois.; his wife Maxine Barr; his stepson Donald Ray Hickson (Susan); and his son-in-law Bill Bellamy.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Patsy Jane Bellamy of San Antonio, FL; his children, David Barr (Lori) of Winter Haven, FL, Mary Anne Barr of Carbondale and Danny Barr (Pam) of DeSoto; and his grandchildren, James Barr of Ponca City, OK, Kim Sherock (Jeff) of Ellicott City, MD, Kristi Cefolia of Elgin, Tom Hickson (Kim) of Poplar Grove, Erin Barr of Tampa, FL, Christian Barr of Albuquerque, NM, Alex Barr of Clemson, SC, Dawn McWhorter (Shane) of Royalton, Mendy McWhorter of Carbondale, Tiffany Gallops of Carbondale, Adam Parks of DuQuoin, Randy Mocaby (Tonya) of West Virginia and Kyle Hubbs of DeSoto.
